Supra LORAD 2.5 mm2 16A Power Cord with Angled Plug
Shielded power cord including Supra LoRad 3 x 2.5 mm2 cable, Supra SWF16 female connector (IEC-320), and Supra SW-EU/A angled male connector. Continuous power rating of 16 amperes. The EU version with a Schuko plug is the most common standard across Europe. Exceptions include Denmark, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, and the UK. Suitable for LoRad power strips with a 16 amp rating.
NOTE! The SWF-16S female connector type is IEC-320, which is compatible with, for example, Supra's 16 A power distribution sockets.

Supra LoRad:
LoRad means low radiation, meaning the design of these power cables minimizes both electric and magnetic fields. Give your hi-fi equipment the most significant advantage, the ability to be silent when needed. Only then do the smallest details and notes become clearly audible, and the background of time-delayed, real or artificial reflections representing the acoustic environment of the recording shows the conscious hi-fi enthusiast the entire sound space.
LoRad protects both the connected device from external interference and external devices from mains disturbances. LoRad MkII is a new model of the LoRad concept, now with improved shielding, flexibility, bending/fatigue resistance, and strength.
In addition to the physical durability of the cable, LoRad has focused on the structure of the conductors. Conductors twisted together at a short pitch reduce the magnetic field around the conductors caused by self-induction. Furthermore, the twisted structure reduces the effect of external interferences, as the same voltage is induced in all conductors at the same level.
LoRad MkII now includes Supra's unique Carbon/Nylon shielding concept. The semiconductive carbon/nylon shield has better properties than traditional ones, such as bending strength, environmental durability, higher tensile strength, and lower microphonic effect. The Carbon/Nylon shield is connected to protective earth along its entire length, effectively grounding noise trapped in the shield. "We have tested and evaluated all known shielding types to make the best possible cable. Supra's semiconductive Carbon/Nylon shield was the only one that passed our strict safety requirements, and its shielding properties were also the best ever." LoRad MkII is tested and certified by Intertek Sweden and complies with the European safety regulation HD21.5 S3.
Note! Supra LoRad must be connected to a grounded outlet to fully benefit.
