Ruark Audio R1 Deluxe
Bluetooth radio
Ideal in the kitchen, perfect in the office and simply a pleasure to wake up to in the bedroom, the new R1 brings style to any room and with a built-in high-quality Bluetooth receiver, you can wirelessly stream music from your phone or computer.
Every generation of R1 has been an evolution of the original, but with R1 Mk4, we wanted it to be more progressive in both design and performance.
The use of a precise molding process has allowed us to carefully profile the enclosure, giving a fresh new look and the perfect surface for our new Light Cream and Espresso finishes. Acoustically treated, the enclosure is robust and inert, providing the ideal housing for the electronics and the NS+ driver.
The design is further enhanced by a beautiful handcrafted grille. This adds further sophistication and creates a timeless Eames-like feel, but overall, the design remains unique and distinctly Ruark.
Our previous R1 models received critical acclaim for their sound, but with R1 Mk4 we have raised the bar! In particular, the latest neodymium NS+ driver, used in our R3 and R5 models, provides a smooth and extended frequency response. In the R1 Mk4, the tuned enclosure produces impressive bass response. The system's Class A/B linear amplifier delivers exceptional dynamics, and with adaptive equalization, clearly audible sound is obtained at all volume levels.
BackPack II
With a battery status display and improved power management, the R1 Mk4 works even better and longer with the optional BackPack II, meaning you can enjoy the rich sound of the R1 when mains power is unavailable.
BackPack II seamlessly attaches to the R1 and once fitted, can be left permanently in place as it automatically recharges whenever mains power is reconnected. A full charge provides up to 12 hours of network listening, depending on volume.
Compact Remote Control
For the first time, we have an optional compact remote control available for the R1. The remote features four quick-access buttons, allowing you to easily store and select your favorite radio stations.
