Rega Advanced EBLT Upgrade Drive Belt
Custom-made high-quality Advanced EBLT drive belt.
Each belt is molded on our custom-made, ultra-precise tools using a unique blend. Once molded, the belts are cryogenically frozen and tumbled to remove excess flash, creating a perfect cross-sectional roundness crucial for accurate speed and stability. Under normal use and conditions, the EBLT drive belt has a 50% longer lifespan than the previous model.
In the measurement image, you can see a direct comparison from our customized test software. You can compare the old belt (top) to the latest EBLT reference belt (bottom). We have used the same Planar 1 turntable. The only component changed is the drive belt. You can clearly see that the increased precision and cross-sectional roundness of the EBLT belt have reduced the weighted Wow/Flutter measurements. The standard belt measures 0.253% / the Advanced EBLT measures 0.162% and the Reference EBLT measures 0.075%.
The Advanced EBLT drive belt is standard on all Planar 1, Planar 1 Plus, Planar 2, Planar 3, and Planar 6 models.
