Unlike most similar products that use Class D technology, the ZDAP-VOL5 utilizes Class A/B technology, producing a warmer and more natural sound that brings your music to life. Even without DSP adjustments, the sound quality is significantly improved, and the built-in DSP takes the sound even further, allowing you to fine-tune your car's sound system to your exact preferences - regardless of your musical taste.

Input Priority
Input Priority ensures seamless integration with your car's original head unit. You can use RCA input or digital sources such as optical S/PDIF input, coaxial input or built-in Bluetooth (Bluetooth 5.0) without losing important sounds from the original equipment, such as parking sensors, alarms and radio signals.
For example, if your vehicle's head unit has a high-pass filter that limits bass, you can bypass this limitation by streaming the audio directly to the amplifier via Bluetooth – while retaining all the functionality of the OEM system.

DSP outputs
The ZDAP-VOL5 not only upgrades your system, but also allows you to expand it. Thanks to two freely configurable RCA DSP outputs (channels 7-8), you can connect, for example, a subwoofer amplifier and control it completely freely via DSP. Delay settings, crossover filters and equalizer options ensure top-class performance for additional components.

Software
You control the processor with free and easy-to-use PC software (compatible with Windows 10 and 11). Connect to your computer with the included USB-B cable and you have the following control options:

• 31-band parametric equalizer (PEQ) for all channels

• Selectable filter types (Bessel, Butterworth, Linkwitz-Riley) and adjustable slopes from -6 dB to -48 dB

• Time delay adjustments for all channels

• Fully customizable channel routing

• Custom Channel Links (Copy or Link)
