Hertz SS 12 D2 12" SPL subwoofer

The SS 12 D2 subwoofer with its 12" cone is ready to impress enthusiasts with its power. The specially designed upper suspension combined with the double-layered lower suspension keep the performance consistent throughout, whether it's normal music listening or participating in a sound pressure competition.

Heat dissipation is of paramount importance in such high-volume drivers, and thanks to the precise design, heat dissipation and dissipation away from the driver are at a first-class level. The robust dual voice coil has a diameter of a whopping 75 mm and is equipped with air vents, allowing the subwoofer to withstand up to 2000 W of instantaneous power. The chassis structure is designed with heat dissipation in mind and is also extremely mechanically durable. The unpressed paper cone with cotton fibers achieves the ideal compromise between stiffness and lightness. These two factors are of equal importance when aiming for high sensitivity. The under-suspension and conductor cables are oversized in size to withstand the exceptionally large movement of the cone without becoming stressed or compromising playback quality. The massive ferrite magnet keeps the whole thing in extreme control right up to the limits of performance. The pressure terminals make connection easy and they accept speaker wire up to 12 AWG thick.
