Grado SR125x

The R125x offers true listening pleasure in its price range thanks to its light and flexible design.

The sound of the SR125x headphones has been improved, e.g., with a better voice coil, achieving even better reproduction across the entire frequency range. The result is assured Grado quality.

The Grado SR125x headphones use state-of-the-art headphone drivers and a high-quality UHPLC (Ultra-High Purity, Long Crystal) cable in the driver's voice coil. The 8-conductor cable allows for excellent control at the extremes of the frequency response without neglecting the fine mid-range. The SR125x drivers undergo a "de-stress" treatment to produce the best reproduction accuracy. The new drivers, headphone cable, and driver housing are also designed to produce minimal transient distortion. The bass, mid-range, and treble produce a tonally and balanced reproduction.

New Driver Design
The improved Prestige X-series driver design includes a new magnetic circuit and a redesigned voice coil to improve efficiency and harmonic integrity and minimize distortion.

New Cable Design
The Prestige X series features a completely redesigned cable for comfort, offering increased durability and flexibility. The 8-conductor (SR125X, SR225X, SR325X) and 4-conductor (SR60X, SR80X) cables now have a very pleasant braided cable with a pure copper conductor inside, which improves the purity of the audio signal.

Redesigned Headband
The Grado SR125x headphones feature a new faux leather headband that increases user comfort and reduces listening fatigue. This excludes the Grado Prestige flagship model SR325X, which still uses a leather headband.

Grado Characteristics
The open design of the headphones makes them very immune to transient distortion and produces a very impressive frequency range and Grado's characteristic mid-range reproduction. The SR125x produces a warm and rich sound with impressive dynamics. The treble reproduction of the headphones is, again, very soft.
