The adaptive W371A woofer is a truly unique concept, specifically designed to seamlessly complement the 8341, 8351, and 8361 monitors. With these, the W371 produces a full-bandwidth monitoring system with unparalleled sonic neutrality and excellent control over directivity and room acoustic effects.

Now, the benefits of a main monitor can be brought into the studio, while speakers can be optimally positioned in the control room, and it is possible to switch from near-field to main monitor listening without the sound image shifting.

The W371A is sized to function as a stand for The Ones series speakers (dimensions 1108 x 400 x 400 mm) and includes two high-performance bass drivers, one facing forward and one backward. The W371A offers a variety of ways to customize the sound reproduction of the four lowest critical octaves in the listening room.

The W371A offers three different operating modes, from which you can choose the one that suits your needs: You can emphasize a flat frequency response and avoid cancellations at bass frequencies, extend the directivity of the main monitors down to low frequencies, or minimize reflections from room boundaries. According to your choice, GLM calculates the most suitable directivity pattern and other settings for the W371A, taking into account the location of both the monitor speakers and the listening position.
