The Genelec 7370A SAM™ subwoofer is a powerful and precise tool for all needs. Thanks to its digital and analog inputs, and Genelec's AutoCal™ and GLM™ control network technologies, it can be flexibly and seamlessly adapted to different environments and sound systems.
The 7370A subwoofer combines the excellent mechanical and acoustic properties of Genelec's Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE™) with the Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM™) control software and AutoCal™ calibration technology. The result is a subwoofer with high maximum SPL, accurate and distinct low-frequency reproduction, and natural tonal reproduction. AutoCal™ individually calibrates each subwoofer connected to the control network, compensating for level and delay differences due to distance variations and aligning the phase with the main loudspeakers. In addition, AutoCal™ compensates for unwanted room acoustic phenomena, which are usually most detrimental at low frequencies.
The 7370A includes analog 7.1 channel balanced XLR inputs and outputs, allowing it to be used without external A/D converters. Digital AES/EBU connections ensure compatibility with digital system environments. It supports a distributed bass management architecture, enabling the subwoofer to be used very versatilely in various systems and configurations. The 7370A includes a Class D power amplifier, DSP-controlled crossovers, and overload protection circuits.
The excellent features of the Genelec 7370A are particularly highlighted in highly demanding conditions. It is ideally suited for music studios, outside broadcast vehicles, digital workstations, and radio and television control rooms. It is a flexible low-frequency monitoring tool that you can rely on regardless of the conditions.
