Not just 'more bass'
A good subwoofer is much more than just bass. The 7040A subwoofer produces high sound pressure and an accurate and uncolored response down to 30Hz. When paired with 7040A, 8010 or 8020 monitor speakers, a full-frequency system is achieved.
Premium bass management
The Genelec 7040A delivers impressive low-frequency reproduction in a small size. It is well suited for combination with Genelec 8010 and 8020 monitor speakers. The subwoofer's frequency response extends down to 30 Hertz. Despite its small size, excellent performance is made possible by Genelec's patented Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE™) cabinet design. The design ensures accuracy of bass reproduction and a wide range of low frequencies. This speaker's 6½-inch woofer and powerful Genelec Class-D amplifier produce up to 100 decibels of sound pressure.
