Key Features

• The carbon fiber reinforced polymer matrix composite diaphragm ensures exceptional stiffness combined with very low weight.
• The 28 mm aluminum voice coil allows for very high power handling for this type of component.
• The tweeter uses a very large, vented neodymium motor magnet, optimized by computer simulations (FEA) for greater efficiency and improved linearity throughout the voice coil's excursion. The neodymium magnet is of high quality to reduce magnetic losses at high temperatures and concentrate more energy in a small space.
• All motor parts are CNC machined. This provides tighter tolerances and improves performance.
• Great attention was paid to the axial and radial ventilation of the moving coil to ensure high power handling with reduced distortion and improved durability. Axial ventilation holes significantly reduce air compression behind the diaphragm, resulting in greatly reduced distortion and extended response to lower frequencies.
• Special acoustic resistance helps control the tweeter's Qts value. Residual resonances are neutralized by the dB Cloth® damping material under the diaphragm. This extends the frequency response to lower limits and reduces harmonic distortion.
• The faceplate can be removed with clips and replaced with an adapter for rear mounting.
• For flush mounting of the tweeter, use the included 4 chromed front screws, or for surface mounting, use the supplied mounting cup.
