DLS DD33-40

The DLS DD33-40 is a three-channel amplifier from DLS, created to commemorate the Swedish brand's 40th anniversary. The amplifier is very small in physical dimensions, so in addition to regular passenger cars, the DD33-40 can be easily installed, for example, under the seat of a van or behind the dashboard. The Class D amplifier has very good efficiency, so the amplifier's power consumption is moderate and the amplifier stays cool even during longer listening sessions.

The amplifier comes with a wired level control for adjusting the subwoofer, and the DD33-40 is also equipped with automatic power-on when using speaker-level input. This makes it easier to connect the amplifier to the car's factory-installed head unit.
The amplifier also has a 3.5mm AuxIn input, allowing a signal to be brought into the amplifier, for example, from a phone's headphone output.

The subwoofer channel has an adjustable low-pass filter (50-250Hz) and the main channels have a high-pass filter (40-400Hz). The subwoofer and main channels have their own input sensitivity adjustments.

The DLS DD33-40 has two pairs of RCA inputs. However, the amplifier can also be used with head units that only have one pair of RCA outputs, as the amplifier can distribute the incoming signal to all three output channels.
