The DD Audio Z18 is an 18-inch subwoofer from the Z-series. The Z-series is DD Audio's flagship range, made possible by DD Audio's experience in designing and manufacturing high-end subwoofers. It combines the latest innovations in technology and materials with precise, handcrafted assembly.

The result is a completely different subwoofer with performance far beyond what has been seen before.

In the magnet structure, Neodymium rods are symmetrically positioned vertically around the voice coil. This reduces stray flux and increases the magnetic force on the voice coil. Additionally, the open magnet structure allows for extremely efficient cooling of the voice coil.

DD Audio does not provide a power handling rating for the driver. However, the power handling is sufficient for most needs. A single Z-series driver has surpassed the 180 dB mark multiple times in dB Drag Race competitions.

Note! This driver can also be purchased with a different colored cone, dust cap, and various impedances (0.25Ω, 0.5Ω, 0.75Ω, 1.5Ω, 2Ω).
