The DD Audio Z18 is an 18-inch subwoofer from the Z-series. The Z-series is DD Audio's flagship range, made possible by DD Audio's experience in designing and manufacturing high-end subwoofers. It combines the latest innovations in technology and materials with precise, handcrafted assembly.

The result is a completely different subwoofer whose performance is unlike anything experienced before.

In the magnetic structure, Neodymium rods are positioned symmetrically and vertically around the voice coil. This reduces stray flux and increases the magnetic force directed to the voice coil. In addition, the open magnetic structure allows for highly effective cooling of the voice coil.

DD Audio does not state any numerical power handling rating for the driver. However, the power handling is sufficient for most needs. A single Z-series driver has already exceeded the 180 dB mark multiple times in dB Drag Race competitions.

Note! You can also purchase this driver with a different cone color, dust cap, and different impedances (0.25Ω, 0.5Ω, 0.75Ω, 1.5Ω, 2Ω).
