The DD Audio 3500 series is one of the best sounding series from DD Audio. The low mass of moving parts, an incredibly powerful motor and multiple suspensions enable a truly accurate and musical reproduction. The EROM and V-Rom suspensions and the extremely heat-resistant three-inch voice coils allow you to enjoy this sound quality even at high volumes and low frequencies.
A well-oversized composite dust cup stiffens the cone and a sturdy cast frame supports the entire driver structure. Voice coil ventilation ensures that this sturdy package also cools down properly during longer playing sessions.
This driver uses the ESP (Evolution Subwoofer Performance) design, which includes, among other things, larger diameter lower suspensions, a chassis with the required depth for the trajectory, and a top suspension and cone structure that differ from normal model series. ESP drivers are built to achieve maximum performance in their size class.
