CTK WaveFix is a latex-impregnated polyurethane mat. The mat's structure conceals closed and semi-open pores of various sizes. The wave-like shape offers better damping efficiency than a flat mat, and WaveFix "remembers its shape." This means that when the mat is glued behind, for example, a plastic panel and the panel is installed, WaveFix slowly returns to its original wave-like shape, sealing the space behind the panel very effectively.

The mat's damping efficiency is best at frequencies above 500Hz, but the reduction of excess noise begins at around one hundred hertz. So, if the goal is to achieve the most effective sound damping in a car, CTK WaveFix is the solution.

WaveFix is also optimal for eliminating various squeaks and other resonance noises from, for example, doors, the roof, the boot lid, the dashboard, and A-, B-, and C-pillars.

CTK WaveFix is very flexible, so it can be installed on even very complex surfaces, and it is recommended to install the mat also on top of a CTK Premium mat.

In addition to sound damping, WaveFix insulates heat and prevents the formation of bacteria, mold, and moisture. Furthermore, WaveFix can be used in industry for sound damping various machines and inside speaker and subwoofer enclosures.
