Best Sound Quality
The Alpine Status series incorporates many technologies, components, and materials familiar from Alpine's F#1 Status series, ensuring the best possible sound quality – but at a more affordable price than the F#1 Status series.
Alpine Status can reproduce music at up to 192kHz/24bit quality, which is available from various online services and streaming platforms.
The Alpine Status series subwoofer, HDZ-110, is made with very similar recipes to the F#1 Status flagship subwoofer.
The 11″ driver features dual two-ohm voice coils, double surrounds, a large ferrite magnet, and heavy-duty terminals.
The HDZ-110 features a carbon fiber composite cone, which is identical to the cone material used in the Alpine Status component speakers. This ensures the most consistent sound possible across all drivers.
Carbon fiber composite is extremely light yet rigid, allowing for a very wide dynamic range and minimal distortion.
All components in the Alpine Status series are designed purely for sound quality and with the best possible listening pleasure in mind. Unlike the F#1 Status series, all Alpine Status components can be purchased separately.
The HDZ-110 is technologically very close to the Alpine F#1 Status subwoofer. Among other things, the double upper surround allows for a large cone excursion and keeps the cone under unprecedented control. Compared to traditional surrounds, the Alpine Status subwoofer's reproduction remains extremely well controlled.
The HDZ-110 has two two-ohm voice coils. You can drive one subwoofer with two mono amplifiers or, alternatively, bridge the voice coils for a four-ohm load to the amplifier.
At the bottom of the page, there is a PDF file with different wiring options.
Alpine Status can reproduce music at up to 192kHz/24bit quality, which uses over six times the amount of data compared to a traditional CD or streaming service.
This allows you to extract even the finest nuances and details from the music, bringing you as close to studio-level sound as possible.
