Even more precise reproduction
The S2-S68 cone material is a unique blend of polypropylene, glass fiber, and mica, making the cone lightweight and allowing the driver to handle higher power.

HAMR surround
Alpine's HAMR (High-Amplitude Multi-Roll) surround keeps the cone's excursion linear at all volume levels, ensuring highly controlled bass reproduction even at higher volumes.

Robust magnets and large motors
The new S-Series 6x8" speakers feature 90mm magnets, which are larger than those found in most competing brands. Thanks to the large magnets and motors, the REAL power handling of S-Series speakers is in a class of its own.
