Renewed Motors

The second-generation R-series subwoofers feature a large double magnet, which allows for a lower frequency response and tighter sound compared to the previous R-Series generation. The "Faraday Ring" integrated into the voice coil increases power handling and reduces potential distortion, thus providing clean bass even at higher volumes than before. The cones of the R-Series subwoofers are Kevlar-reinforced, making the cone extremely durable without excessive weight increase.

Top-tier performance, already in its second generation

Before the R-Series, Alpine had the Type-R series, which became known for its performance, reliability, and truly tight bass reproduction. Now, the second-generation R-Series, which has entered the market, offers even better bass performance than its predecessor!

Alpine Reliability

The new polypropylene/ceramic composite cone is extremely rigid, preventing the cone from vibrating on its own, resulting in a flatter frequency response and a very durable cone material.

Versatile applications

All new R-Series subwoofers come with dual voice coils (2 x 4ohm or 2 x 2ohm) and include jumpers that make various connection options easy to implement. The new "EZ-Change" trim ring creates a stylish installation, as the EZ-Change ring conceals the mounting screws.

Even more precise reproduction

R-Series subwoofers feature Alpine's patented HAMR (High Amplitude Multi-Roll) surround. This design increases the cone's excursion and keeps its movement significantly more controlled than traditional surrounds.
