Alpine APF-X320MIB

When replacing the factory-installed car stereo, it is important that all car settings previously managed through the factory-installed stereo can still be controlled after the stereo replacement.
Alpine has made stereo replacement painless, and with the new stereo, you can change your car's settings as before.

Using original steering wheel controls

If your car is equipped with steering wheel controls, these will work seamlessly with the Alpine stereo. You can perform basic functions without taking your hands off the steering wheel, such as muting the stereo, changing the source or radio station, adjusting the volume, etc.
If you use an iPhone, you can also activate Siri with a single button press.

MFD display

The APF-X320MIB also supports the car's MFD (Multi Function Display) in the instrument cluster. You can see the radio station name, song information, etc., just like with the original stereo.

Parking sensor and rearview camera display

If your car has factory-installed parking sensors, these will remain functional with the Alpine unit. Front and rear sensors connect to your stereo via the APF-X320MIB, and the stereo displays parking distances with clear symbols.
If your car has a factory-installed rearview camera, this will also remain functional with the Alpine unit, and you can display both sets of information on the screen simultaneously.

Heating and air conditioning information

The Alpine display provides clear and detailed information every time you adjust the air conditioning or seat heaters. The display automatically turns on for a few seconds whenever adjustments are made.

Pre-Flight Check

For RV and camper use, the Alpine unit can remind you when starting off that, for example, the car's gas valves are closed, all necessary doors are shut, the car's support legs are retracted, etc.
You can select the settings relevant to your own vehicle or disable these reminders completely.

The APF-X320MIB provides access to car settings.
Car settings are displayed in English on the stereo.

Compatible with almost all Alpine head units

The APF-X320MIB is compatible with, among others, the first and second generation of all Halo head units. All compatible head units can be found at the bottom of the page under the "Compatible Products" heading.

• Cars with eCall emergency call function require an additional eCall adapter.
• APF-X320MIB is not compatible with electric or hybrid models, or cars with Active Info Display (AID).
• Does not support traffic sign recognition.
• Some car settings functions/settings remain operational but are managed differently.
• Not compatible with cars that have an OEM Sound system.
