Aalto 9 is a unique and carefully designed loudspeaker that represents the best possible sound quality. This large-scale three-way bass reflex speaker offers an incredibly wide and precise sound. Behind the speaker's design is the esteemed speaker designer Kimmo Saunisto, whose goal was to create a speaker that can effortlessly reproduce any material. A speaker that doesn't need to pretend to be big. A speaker with tremendous authority and dynamics.
The bass of the Aalto 9 comes from a massive 21-inch paper cone driver capable of handling up to 1100 watts of power. Mid-range reproduction is handled by a 10-inch paper cone, and the accuracy of high frequencies is ensured by a 1-inch compression driver with a horn.
The frequency response is impressive, extending deep down to 20 Hz and all the way up to 24,000 Hz. The phase response remains exceptionally accurate, enabling natural sound quality.
The amplifier is a professional model, producing a substantial total power of 1500 watts. The amplifier features an analog XLR input, an AES/EBU XLR connection, and an optional Dante input. Additionally, it has a USB port for room correction, which can be adjusted with FourAudio System Software on Windows and Mac OS environments.
